Umpire - Interested in becoming an umpire.....

Moon Youth Umpire Program – 2019  
Do you have an eligible player who is interested in being an umpire for Moon Baseball this year? 
Please note some of the key requirements for being a youth umpire:   
1.    In order to be eligible, players must be 13 as of April 30th and has played baseball in Moon Little League in the past.  1st year umpires will work Minor League games exclusively. 
2.    Players must attend at least 2 of the 4 umpire clinics that will take place in March/April.  Details to come at a later date. 
3.    Players must adhere to the youth umpire dress code. (Umpire T-shirt)
4.    Must register online at   

Ken Santucci will be assigning and paying the umpires again this year.  He will communicate through texts so give him all cell numbers you want to use at umpire registration.  He will text all the umpires on Saturday or Sunday to see whom is available for the week and then he will start to assign everyone games for the week.  Games will be assign by Tuesday so don’t hesitate on letting him know your availability or you might not get assigned a game. He will pay all the umpires ONCE a week at either DeVenzio or Baker Fields.   

Must attend 2 of 3 meetings held on February 27, March 5, and March 13 at 7:00 pm at the Moon Middle School LGI Room on February 27 and March 5 and the Middle School Cafeteria on March 13.
